Xanthe Rivett’s photography has appeared in Sport Diving (USA), Dive Log, The Cairns Post, The Cruising Helmsman, Powerboat World, X-Ray Magazine, and many other publications. Her work has involved training Video and Photos Pros for the Cairns diving industry in Queensland, Australia and working with the Australian National Maritime Museum and Silentworld Foundation in maritime archaeology photography and film projects.

Xanthe’s passion has always been to educate people about the underwater world, her chosen medium to achieving that is underwater imagery. After studying Marine Biology, achieving PADI Divemaster then Instructor ratings, plus working as an Underwater Photographer and Videographer, Xanthe can now say she has been diving over half her life and still loves it.

Recently Xanthe has had exhibitions at the Australian National Maritime Museum (see photograph above) and the HUGs Art Gallery in Cairns.  In June 2010 Xanthe was approached by the Protect Our

Coral Sea campaign to help achieve Marine Park status for the Coral Sea.  Her work on this project is ongoing and she is proud to be a part of this very important step to protecting our marine environment for future generations.
