Learn Underwater Photography. Courses for beginners to Advanced. Improve your images through new techniques and tips.

Taking underwater photographs for the first time or looking to refine your underwater technique and improve your images? These workshops have a flexible delivery allowing each one to be tailored to your knowledge level. Group numbers are kept small to keep quality and customer service high.

2hr Intensive Workshops - $60 per person

- This is an intesive workshop to learn the essentials of digital underwater photography.
- Learn how to get the best out of your camera in the underwater world.
- A flexible session which can be tailored to the knowledge level of participants.
- Topics include: white balance, controlling light, exposure, composition and equipment.
- You will be amazed at the difference two hours can make!
Workshops are held 3 days a week from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday).
Additional times can be arranged for a minimum of two bookings.

1 Day Workshops - $220 per person

Spend a full day learning both the theory and practical aspects of controlling light, water and colour for great photographs. The flexibility of being able to easily switch between topside discussion and an in pool practical session ensures maximised learning. Lunch and light refreshments are included.

- Mastering basic shots, then adding a wow factor
- Composition
- Exposure (using aperture, shutter speed and light sources to control your exposure)

1:1 Sessions and Group Bookings:

For personalised tuition on specialty areas of underwater photography or videography please contact me. Specialty modules can include: Macro photography, Underwater Portraiture, Videography, Mastering Light and Exposure (including strobe use versus natural light). Prices are available on application and can include dive expeditions to the Great Barrier Reef for practical experience. Please contact Xanthe and describe your requirements and learning goals so I can best accommodate your needs

Groups of 3 or more people can request their own workshop time and date (subject to availability). Groups of 4 or more include 1 extra person attending free of charge (i.e. book 4 and fifth person attends free). Pass it on to other group members as a discount or take it as a reward for handling the organisation!
